Retail Store

Snow-Entrance-Shot
From our humble beginnings in October 2010, New England Everyday Goods got its start in a small 400-square-foot shop across from the movie theatre in downtown Peterborough. We quickly outgrew that charming little spot, and in July 2011 we relocated the store across the street to Depot Square.

Fast forward to January 2014…

After three years of solid growth, we packed up the business and moved to a sprawling building atop a picturesque hillside that we purchased in the neighboring town of Jaffrey. That property pictured above, well-known as the iconic Coll’s Farm Stand for over 40 years, is now the home of New England Everyday Goods & Farm Market.

With over 4,000 square feet of retail floor space, there truly is a lot more in store for you when you visit us. New England Everyday Goods now offers a wider selection of useful and unique products crafted with Yankee pride and ingenuity.

Under the same roof you’ll discover a fresh foods market with in-season locally grown produce, dairy items, cage-free eggs, baked goods, maple syrup and an even bigger assortment of New England specialty gourmet goodies. And for a satisfying lunch, snack, or meal-to-go, be sure to visit Café 532 and Deli at the west end of the building.

Just a short drive up the hill, plenty of onsite parking and a beautiful open view await you. We look forward to seeing you soon! For directions and maps to our new location, click here.

jaffrey

We think you’re going to like New England Everyday Goods’ new home town!

Just a few miles drive south from Peterborough on Route 202 and you cross into neighboring Jaffrey. The turn onto Old Sharon Road to get to our new location is a little over a mile from the town line. Blue road signs on Route 202 indicate where to find us.

But there’s a lot more to see and do in Jaffrey than a visit to our bigger and better store in a picture perfect setting. This town is home to one of the most climbed mountains in the world: Mt. Monadnock (shown here on a glorious early autumn day).

monadnock

From novices to adventurous hikers, Grand Monadnock offers a variety of trails with spectacular views all leading to the breath-taking panorama at the summit.

In addition to the town’s natural scenic beauty, there are many unique and inviting shops and eateries, many within walking distance of each other all in Jaffrey’s charming little downtown district.

And right down the road from us is one of the area’s best kept secrets (but not for long), Terrapin Glassblowing Studio, where you can try your skills at this ancient art. To learn more about our neighbors, visit the Jaffrey Is Cool facebook page.

We are excited to be settled in to our new home town and hope you will come for a day (or longer) to discover all that Jaffrey has to offer.

Pure Maple Syrup

When we started New England Everyday Goods in 2010, we never would have guessed that Maple Syrup would become our top-selling product line. Although there are countless places in the Northeast to purchase pure maple products, people from near and far come to us for our sweet selection.

In New England maple sugaring season is limited to just a few weeks in late winter to early spring when temperatures begin to warm and the sap begins to flow in the sugar maple trees. On average, 40 gallons of clear, water-like sap are boiled down to produce one gallon of rich amber-colored maple syrup.

Packaged in a variety of glass bottles and traditional plastic jugs, we always stock the two most-popular grades of syrup: Grade A Medium Amber and Grade A Very Dark Amber (also known as Grade B). Whichever you choose, you’re assured of a 100% pure, naturally delicious treat.
